Guildhall goes from Strength to Strength
A recent Retail Footprint has shown that of 13 major shopping centres in the West Midlands, the Guildhall Shopping Centre in Stafford has risen from 8th place in 2008-9 to 3rd place in 2009-2010. This equates to an increase in customer spend of £40 million rising from £240 million in 2008-9 to £280 million in 2009-10 thus showing that despite the biting recession and economic problems, Stafford is still maintaining its position and going from strength to strength.
