FREE Fun at the Guildhall this Bank Holiday weekend

Bank Holiday weekend is upon us and let's hope for some sunshine. The sun is always shining at the Guildhall and this weekend we have a FREE Children's Play Day from 11.00am to 3.00pm. The Play Day is being organised by the Early Learning Centre and will take place in the unit that was previously occupied by Mothercare. Come down, bring the kids and have lots of fun ...

Guildhall goes from Strength to Strength

A recent Retail Footprint has shown that of 13 major shopping centres in the West Midlands, the Guildhall Shopping Centre in Stafford has risen from 8th place in 2008-9 to 3rd place in 2009-2010. This equates to an increase in customer spend of £40 million rising from £240 million in 2008-9 to £280 million in 2009-10 thus showing that despite the biting recession and economic problems, Stafford is still maintaining its position and going from strength to strength. Beer Festival

The Pie & Ale House will be holding its first Beer Festival this Bank Holiday weekend from 11.00am to 11.00pm each day. With over 30 different beers to try and FREE entry, this is an event that most adults will enjoy. The Pie & Ale House is located on Crabbery Street, just outside the Guildhall Shopping Centre
